The subject property is located on the South side of Weeks Bay looking North over the Bay and the Weeks Bay Reserve coastline.

The road leading to the property is a dead end and with only five houses it makes for a very private setting. As you can see from the survey, the property is 100 feet wide and very long. The waterfront portion of the property is accessed by a road approximately 300 feet from the waters edge making a beautiful waterfront setting. The backside of the property is accessed by another road and would make a great place for a rental home, garage, garden and etc.

Storms do not affect Weeks Bay like on the larger bodies of water. The water simply comes up and goes back down. The wave action that causes so much damage is very minimal. The dwelling will have to be built on pilings and the effects of storms will be very little.

If you are looking for a private waterfront setting with little development potential around you, this is it!!!! Magnolia River is a little more than a quarter of a mile from your front doorstep. Fish River and Mobile Bay with access to the Gulf is less than a few minutes boat ride away. This is a very special place.

The County has approved splitting the property down the middle and making two 50 foot lots. We will sell each at $142,000.00 a piece. We have a current survey and will pay all closing costs.

The Weeks Bay Reserve includes over 6,000 acres of coastal wetlands and water bottoms that provide rich and diverse habitats for a variety of fish, crustaceans and shellfish, as well as many unique and rare plants. The Weeks Bay estuary, "where rivers meet the sea," is an important site of scientific research on estuarine ecology. The Weeks Bay Interpretive Center offers the public opportunities to learn about coastal habitats through its exhibits, live animals displays and collections of animals and regional plants. Self-guiding nature trails wind through wetlands, marshes, bogs and forests.
